Good Morning,
I hope that you all have had a chance to take a look at the Course Introduction Module and the overall layout for the course. As you can see, there is a good bit of work, but nothing that should be too unmanageable if you dedicate a certain amount of time every week.
I'm assuming that you are all familiar with the general structure for WebCampus. As I mentioned yesterday, in an effort to hold down on the confusion and visual chaos, I'll hold off on making the next course module available until tomorrow morning .
If you're not familiar with WebCampus, I'll be happy to answer specific questions that you might have (use discussion boards, not email please). But it's pretty straightforward: work your way through the modules one at a time and everything should work out.
There are a variety of discussion spaces, including a space (right up at the top) for general questions for the class. This is a good place to start with questions about WebCampus or places where you might be confused about the layout or just to begin informal conversations with your classmates.
As far as the discussion spaces go, you'll probably use the peer review spaces most often. I have spaces set aside for your "introduction" and for questions/comments that you might have about individual modules, but you are required to post a draft of each of your projects and offer feedback to the each other in your peer review spaces.
I would also encourage you to work collaboratively on the two exams. The more you can engage with each other and help each other out, the more you will learn. I believe this.
Tomorrow I'll write a bit about reading strategies and strategies for getting the work done as efficiently and as effectively as possible.
Have a great day.
Dr. Staggers
